Therapy can be weird and scary. But it doesn't have to be. Contrary to popular belief, therapists are people too! We get sad, we get happy and everything in between. But our work is driven by our emotions, passions and experiences that influence how we help you.
Here in the pillow fort we believe that the stories behind therapists' work should be heard. The therapeutic relationship should be just that- a relationship! And you can't have a trusting relationship with a stranger.
Curious about therapy? Meet us in the pillow fort!

Nicole Fortune is a licensed clinical social worker in Raleigh, NC. After earning a Masters in Social Work and a Masters in Public Health from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill she began working as a family therapist for a local non-profit. It was this job that further inspired her passion for demystifying and destygmatizing mental health. Hearing people's thoughts on therapy, she realized that many didn't know what it was, or how to get it or who they would be talking to. As a podcast lover herself, she immediately knew what to do!
"People need to feel safe to open up. What's safer than a pillow fort??"
